Второй человек в государстве, все по Галковскому (кто знает тот поймет), в родном Техасе, где он все контролировал. LBJ - был жестоким, безжалостным мафиозо, повязанным с самыми сливками Техасовской верхушки, у него в активчике убийства, воровство выборов, да много всего. Если хотите понять как работает deep swamp state и убедиться в ее мощи - лучшей кандидатуры чем LBJ вам просто не найти.
Есть такой автор Phillip F. Nelson - он полностью раксрутил клубок всей этой истории, там практически все ясно. Есть 2 его великолепные книги:

Only a very powerful force, a “colossus” as described by none other than Bill Moyers, could have possibly been the driving force that was the essential ingredient, the “critical mass.”

LBJ - психопат и серийный убийца (по словам Стоуна), фактов против него раз в 1000 больше чем у любой другой версии. Да и нет "других" версий.
Он не только имел мотив, возможности, наклонности и средства (как никто другой), но и оставил после себя кучу следов. Например крупнейший миллиардер Хант на одре назвал его убийцей. Был бы это изолированный факт - ОК, но таких деталей вагон.

Насчет Фрэнка Ундервуда, как киновоплощение LBJ - это малость обидно для LBJ, Фрэнк Ундервуд- это просто мягкий интеллектуал по сравнению с ним.
